nuke 5 wipe gizmo

While I was working on adding a clip to my website, I decided to try to figure out how to do a screen wipe right inside Nuke 5. While there is a wipe in the viewer, I could not find an existing node or gizmo, so I decided to create one myself. What I ended up doing, was created a group of nodes, which used the crop node to crop two images over time. It seems to work fairly well, and you can see it in action by looking at my previous post here.

window replacement

This blown out window needed to be replaced with something else. So, I took a picture from outside my window, performed some image stabilization, a compositing using Nuke’s 3D compositing environment, and this is what we ended up with…
