screen replacement

I was provided two full size image sequences; some light tracking and a corner pin did the trick. A little extra cleanup was added to make sure the scratches and the glare from the original phone footage remained.

composite with 3d element

The monster in this shot is supposed to deflect a dart being shot from a gun. The dart was modeled in Cinema 4D then composited using Nuke. The compressed air effect and a minor color adjustment was then added.

compressed air effect

A simple effect I did for a horror film I am working on, here we have a dart gun; the request was to simply add the “smoke” or compressed air effect.

hotwax logo animation

This is an animated logo I created for my company, Hotwax Media. It was modeled, textured, animated and rendered completely with Cinema 4D. The sound was composed using various sound effects from different sound libraries and mixed using Soundtrack Pro.

A walk-through tutorial on the making of this animation can be found HERE.

matte painting

This composite was created using Photoshop. It was created using two photographs with a lot of hand painting.

photo composite

This composite was created using several photographs (which I took) and the sky is an image from NASA’s website. The composite was created using Shake 4.1.

“god” rays

I was asked to add some light rays coming in from a window, the light and shadows were all added during compositing. Shake 4.1 was used for composting and the final render.

earth zoom

I found a tutorial online by Andrew Kramer showing an earth zoom using After Effects. I decided to figure out how to do the same thing using Shake. I spent a few hours and came up with this. Its not complete, maybe when I have some free time I will finish it.

infilmz motion graphic

A motion graphic was composited using After Effects.
