About Me

I’m a New York native, currently living in Park Slope Brooklyn with my lovely wife Liza and my son Zachary. Since 2001 I have been an entrepreneur, consultant and freelancer working in the Information Technology industry; focusing on web application (primarily e-commerce) development utilizing programming languages such as Perl, Python and Java. I am a one of the creators and PMC members of the Apache Open For Business open source project.

In 2010 my focus slightly changed gears, I started doing more work in the mobile sector, utilizing technologies such as GWT and jQuery for mobile web applications and iOS and Andriod platforms for native applications.

I am an Aikido practitioner and avid film fan who not only enjoys watching films but also being involved in the production of films.
